Harley-Davidson 111th Motorcycle Rally Bikers Denied Service For Wearing Sunglasses, Hoodies Or Hats At George Webb

Harley-Davidson bikers denied food service, if wearing sunglasses, hoodies or hats at Milwaukee Southside 24-hour restaurant.

Milwaukee, WI – On Thursday, a Harley-Davidson (H-D) motorcycle rider was denied service at a Southside Milwaukee George Webb restaurant that is opened 24-hours because of a simple cap. The restaurant waitress would serve the biker, if it was a carry-out, but denied service as a seat-in service unless the cap was taken off.
The biker decided to leave and go to another Southside restaurant where bikers are welcome. There were only two customers eating at the George Webb (GB) located in the 2000 block of W. Mitchell Street.
The GB adopted a “No hats, hoodies or sunglasses for the safety of customers and employees” policy. The GB is definitely discriminatory against biker enthusiasts and simply put, they’re not welcome at the George Webb restaurant.
The GB at the Southside location has been robbed multiple times and thugs or criminals targeting the restaurant won’t be stopped by a simple fashion prohibition sign, if they want to rob the place again. It seems, the GB can survive by selecting certain potential clientele, but no doubt its fashion discriminatory policy will end up chasing most customers away. I guess they can affort the economic loss. SMH!
Biker enthusiasts began to arrive in Milwaukee on Thursday for the 111th motorcycle rally in Milwaukee. The rally ends on Sunday and all H-D dealerships in the Milwaukee area within 30 miles are participating, including the H-D Museum. Live bands and events are scheduled for the next three days. The public is welcome to participate.
