According to the criminal complaint, Farr drove both Gordon and Barrett Jr. to the 5000 block of N.58th Street where they both shot up a home by mistake and killed Petersen instead. The intended target was another male, Jaquan Howard, 20, who was acquitted by a jury for the murder of Gordon’s brother on November 6, 2014. Gordon was upset about Howard’s acquittal and wanted to shoot up Howard’s and his girlfriend’s home, which her home was located about four blocks from Petersen’s home.
