The Chinese government is investigating a massive explosion and fire that was reported in the northeast part of China.

Tianjin, China – On Wednesday, multiple massive explosions and fire mushrooms were reported in the northeast part of China in the industrial city of Tianjin reported by the People’s Daily and China Xinhua News. More than 100 people including 21 firefighters are confirmed dead, dozens missing and the civilian dead toll could rise.
Nearby crowded apartment complexes were heavily damaged and hundreds of vehicles from the auto industry were totalled. The Chinese government have send investigators into the effected area and 721 people have been injured including 58 reported in critical condition, according to reports coming out of Tianjin.
